Operation Sindoor Not Over, Just Paused: India Sends Strong Warning to Pakistan

In his address to the nation, PM Modi affirms a firm stance on terrorism, grants armed forces full freedom to strike, and hails precise attacks on terror camps

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his national address on Monday, clarified that Operation Sindoor has not been concluded but temporarily paused. He asserted that in the coming days, India will assess Pakistan’s actions based on its conduct moving forward.
Taking a firm tone, the Prime Minister signaled that any act of terrorism will now meet with a fierce and immediate response. Referring to the brutal terror attack in Pahalgam, he noted that the entire nation—including all communities and political factions—stood united in demanding strong action against terrorism.
India has now empowered its armed forces with complete operational freedom to eliminate terrorism at its roots. The message to every terror group is clear—any attempt to harm India’s daughters or threaten the nation will result in devastating consequences. Operation Sindoor is not just a military mission, but a reflection of the country’s collective resolve and its unwavering commitment to justice.

He revealed that on the night of May 6 and the morning of May 7, Indian forces launched precise strikes on terrorist camps and training centers within Pakistan. These operations resulted in the elimination of over 100 dangerous terrorists.
The Prime Minister emphasized that decisions of this magnitude are possible when the nation stands united under the spirit of “Nation First.” He made it evident that India will no longer absorb attacks in silence—every threat will now be answered with strategic and powerful retaliation.
