Content creator and actor Apoorva Mukhija, popularly known as Rebel Kid, has once again landed in controversy after her ex-boyfriend, Utsav Dahiya, seemingly took a dig at her on social media. On Sunday, Utsav shared a video of a song he composed titled Cute Little Red Flag—a phrase often used by Apoorva in her storytime videos—along with a long note criticising her for portraying him negatively after their breakup. In the track, he warned her against spreading lies, claiming he had “dodged a bullet” by ending their relationship and further alleging that he caught her cheating. He accused Apoorva of using false narratives to gain sympathy and content, while adding in the caption that if she continued, he would reveal proof of his claims.
Utsav also shared how he once reached out to Apoorva and her agency when he was being labelled a cheat and abuser because of her content. However, he said he was dismissed and told he should feel lucky to have dated her. Addressing that, he remarked that despite the negativity, he is “still standing,” stressing that online popularity holds no value outside the digital world, where truth ultimately speaks louder than numbers. He concluded by urging Apoorva to “grow up” and stop spreading lies for content, adding that she could continue earning through conflict but should refrain from maligning others.
The post quickly caught attention online, with many netizens hailing Utsav’s song as a clever form of revenge. Several comments praised his way of turning heartbreak into music, drawing comparisons to Taylor Swift’s storytelling style. The fallout comes after Apoorva had earlier confirmed her breakup with Utsav and subsequently accused him of being abusive and unfaithful in her content, calling him “ghatiya.” The ongoing exchange has reignited discussions around their troubled past relationship, drawing divided opinions from the internet community.
