The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the results of the JEE-Main engineering entrance exam on Wednesday evening, showcasing outstanding achievements by aspirants across the country. A remarkable total of 56 candidates, including two females, achieved the perfect 100 NTA score.

The exceptional performance is spread across two sessions, with 23 candidates achieving perfection during the January session, while 33 replicated this feat in the April session. Among the top scorers, 40 candidates are from the general category, with 10 and 6 belonging to the OBC and gen-EWS categories, respectively. However, this year saw no SC or ST candidates securing a perfect NTA score.

The JEE-Main exam, conducted in 13 languages, witnessed participation from a vast array of aspirants across the nation, spanning 571 centers in 319 cities, including 22 international locations.

Continuing its streak of excellence, Telangana emerged as the frontrunner for the third consecutive year, with 15 applicants among the top scorers. Following closely behind were Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh, each contributing seven top achievers, while Delhi boasted six standout performers.

The JEE-Main exam serves as a crucial stepping stone for nearly 96% of the 14.1 lakh applicants, who have aspirations of qualifying for the JEE (Advanced) examination. This prestigious gateway opens doors to admission into any of the 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and other esteemed technical colleges offering undergraduate engineering and architecture programs.
