Assam long jumper secures second place in the U-20 category with a 6.99m jump at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium

Assam athlete Hemanga Borgohain clinched the silver medal in the U-20 men’s long jump event at the Senior Indian Athletics Meet held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai, delivering an impressive jump of 6.99 metres. Hemanga, who trains with HRDS INDIA Sports Academy, added another significant achievement to his growing athletics career with his performance at the national-level competition.
Competing against athletes from across the country, Hemanga displayed consistency and composure throughout the event, earning recognition for his performance on the national stage.
