In a powerful show of interfaith solidarity, seven major religious leaders from across India stood united with Dr. K.A. Paul, global peace ambassador and humanitarian, at a press conference held at the Foreign Correspondents’ Club in Delhi. Together, they issued a global appeal to prevent World War III, calling on world leaders—including U.S. President Donald Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and Iranian authorities—to stop escalating conflicts and restore peace through urgent dialogue.

Dr. Paul, who has worked with more than 50 world leaders and visited 155 countries over four decades, warned that the current global situation is more perilous than any he has ever witnessed.

“The world is on the verge of collapse. I urge President Trump, Prime Minister Netanyahu, Iranian leaders—pick up the phone and stop this madness. The time to act is now,” said Dr. Paul.

Rabbi Ezekiel Isaac Malekar, speaking on behalf of the Jewish community, emphasized India’s legacy of peaceful coexistence.

“India is the only country where Jews have never faced anti-Semitism. I say proudly, I am Indian first, and Jew second,” he said. Quoting the Prophet Isaiah, he called for swords to be turned into ploughshares and praised Dr. Paul’s peace efforts in Sudan.

Acharya Lokesh Muni, a senior Jain monk, appealed directly to world leaders:

“Why wait until after bloodshed to discuss peace? We must act before war begins.” He urged leaders, including Prime Minister Modi, to step up and take moral leadership.

Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok, former Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, condemned global institutions for their inaction.

“Where is the United Nations? Where is the Security Council? If they remain silent in the face of war, what are they for?” He affirmed full support for Dr. Paul’s global peace efforts.

Maulana Asgarali Salfi Mehndi, recalling his past missions with Dr. Paul, said:

“We have no political agenda—only peace. We once brought hope in war-torn Sudan. Today, we are here to do the same again.”

Wahit Hussain Chishti, of Ajmer Sharif Dargah, emphasized the urgency of action.

“This war is not about religion. It is about power. Children are dying, and the world is watching. We must stop the wars between Israel, Iran, and Pakistan before it’s too late.”

Pandit N.K. Sharma, founder of the Universal Association for Spiritual Awareness, called the gathering a moral obligation.

“This is not a symbolic event. This is a call to humanity. If we don’t speak today, we may not have a tomorrow.”

Dr. Omprakasharya, a respected Hindu leader, also expressed grave concern and affirmed,

“The world needs peace—now more than ever.”

The press conference concluded with Dr. K.A. Paul announcing his immediate departure for New York, where he will meet UN officials and diplomats. This Delhi summit marks the beginning of a wider campaign leading up to the Global Peace Summit, aimed at engaging world governments, media, and civil society to step back from the brink and embrace peaceful resolution.

This unprecedented gathering reflects a unified spiritual and humanitarian appeal across faiths—an urgent call to world powers to restore peace before the window closes.
