Tensions Peak in the Middle East After Coordinated U.S. Attack on Iran’s Key Nuclear Sites Following Trump-Netanyahu Call

Tensions have escalated sharply across the Middle East following U.S. airstrikes on three of Iran’s key nuclear facilities — Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. The strike, conducted in the early hours of Sunday (IST), has drawn global attention and strong responses from world leaders.
Shortly after the operation, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a video statement praising the U.S. action and calling it a “decisive phase” of an operation originally initiated by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
“In the beginning of this operation, I promised you that Iran’s nuclear capabilities would be dismantled,” Netanyahu said in his Hebrew-language address. “Today, that promise has been fulfilled. America’s action marked the decisive phase of our mission.”
Netanyahu further revealed that he spoke to U.S. President Donald Trump immediately after the strike. “Our conversation was warm and filled with emotion,” he said. “President Trump praised our soldiers and the people of Israel. He has once again proven himself to be a unique friend of Israel.”
Earlier, President Trump addressed the nation and confirmed the airstrikes, stating that the objective was to eliminate Iran’s nuclear enrichment capacity entirely. “There will be either peace or tragedy. The choice now lies with Iran,” Trump warned. “If Iran doesn’t choose peace quickly, the United States is prepared for further, more precise actions.”
The attack took place at approximately 4:30 AM IST. Sources indicate that the strikes inflicted significant damage on Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, although no official response from Tehran has been issued yet.
Military and diplomatic analysts suggest that this operation could redefine the global diplomatic landscape and potentially lead to broader regional conflict in the near future. The coordinated U.S.-Israel effort is being seen as one of the most sophisticated and strategically timed operations in recent years.
