The Veer Savarkar International Impact Awards 2025 celebrated global changemakers for contributions in nation-building, innovation, and humanitarian service, while J&K LG Manoj Sinha announced major housing progress.

HRDS INDIA hosted the Veer Savarkar International Impact Awards 2025 at the NDMC Convention Centre, New Delhi, where Honourable Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir Shri Manoj Sinha presided as the chief dignitary. The event brought together national leaders, international delegates, and distinguished achievers to honour individuals embodying the ideals of courage, social reform, and nation-building exemplified by Swatantryaveer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar.
Prominent attendees included Swami Atma Nambi Ji, President of HRDS INDIA; Dr. S. Krishna Kumar, Former Union Minister and Chairman of HRDS INDIA; K. G. Venugopal, Vice President; and Shri Aji Krishnan, Founder Secretary of the organisation.
Manoj Sinha Announces Progress in J&K–HRDS INDIA Housing Project
In his keynote address, Shri Manoj Sinha congratulated all award recipients and highlighted the enduring relevance of Veer Savarkar’s visionary leadership. He reaffirmed the J&K Government’s partnership with HRDS INDIA, announcing:
“In the first phase of our joint initiative with HRDS INDIA, 1,500 modern homes are being constructed for families affected by Operation Sindoor, conflict-related displacement, and natural calamities. These homes will bring social security, dignity, and empowerment to numerous families, strengthening the path toward self-reliance and justice.”
HRDS INDIA Leadership Highlights Mission of Social Transformation
In his welcome address, Swami Atma Nambi Ji reflected on the aims of the award platform and appreciated the presence of the Hon’ble LG, noting that his participation underscores the national significance of HRDS INDIA’s mission.
Dr. S. Krishna Kumar shared the organisation’s growth journey—from a modest grassroots initiative to a nationwide movement for tribal upliftment. He announced HRDS INDIA’s ambitious goal to construct one million homes for tribal communities, calling it a testament to the leadership of Shri Aji Krishnan and the organisation’s guiding mentors.

A moving audio-visual tribute to Veer Savarkar and a classical Nritham performance by Ms. Vaishnavi PJ, disciple of Padmashree V. Jayarama Rao, added a cultural highlight to the ceremony.

HRDS INDIA’s Continued Mission
Founded in 1995, HRDS INDIA remains committed to large-scale social transformation through initiatives in tribal housing, rural development, skill training, women’s empowerment, environmental sustainability, health outreach, and education. The event concluded with Sudarsanam: Bharatam, a documentary dance-drama by women rehabilitated through the Sudarsanam De-Radicalization Programme—now full-time Pracharikas—portraying a powerful journey of transformation and social service.
