In a historic move towards strengthening cultural ties between India and Vietnam, the India Book of Records (IBR) announced the production of the world’s first international feature film dedicated to Indo-Vietnam cultural heritage, titled Vườn Tình Yêu – Prem Ki Surdhara.
The announcement was made at a grand press conference held at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi. The event was attended by prominent dignitaries and cultural ambassadors from both nations.
Mrs. Neerja Roy Chowdhury, Managing Editor of IBR, formally announced the film project in the presence of notable guests including:

- Mr. Trương Quang Hải, Director, Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, Bac Ninh Province, Vietnam

Inspired by Ancient Ties
The film draws inspiration from the book The Guardian of Heritage, portraying deep-rooted cultural connections between India and Vietnam, tracing back to the 7th-century Cham civilization. With a rich fusion of traditional art, music, and heritage, the film promises to be a cultural masterpiece.
Filming and Release
The shoot will take place across historically and culturally rich locations in both India and Vietnam. Pre-production began on June 19, 2025, in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The film is set to release in Hindi and Vietnamese on February 14, 2026, followed by a worldwide release via OTT platforms.
It will also highlight contributions from IBR record holders in fields of cultural preservation and music.
