‘Kaki Maa’ Healthy Pickles and Sattu Attract Visitors at International Health & Wellness Expo 2026
New Delhi: The 9th International Health & Wellness Expo (IHWE) 2026, organised by Namo Gange Trust at Hall No. 12, Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, concluded on Sunday after three days of discussions and exhibitions focused on AYUSH, preventive healthcare, integrated healthcare, nutrition, wellness and healthy living.
Held from August 21 to 23, the expo brought together more than 100 national and international exhibitors, 10,000 visitors, over 1,000 buyers and more than 150 expert speakers, according to the organisers. Doctors, healthcare professionals, researchers, industry representatives and other stakeholders participated in the event. The final day featured an AYUSH conference focused on homeopathy, while visitors showed strong interest in the exhibition stalls.
Traditional Indian Food Becomes a Highlight
Traditional Indian food also emerged as a key attraction at the health and wellness expo. ‘Kaki Maa’ healthy pickles and sattu drew considerable attention from visitors, highlighting the link between traditional food, nutrition and wellness.
Kaki Maa founder Anshu Jha said the brand prepares its products in Patna, Bihar, using traditional methods. The pickles use homemade spices and mustard oil, while the sattu is prepared by soaking, drying and roasting chickpeas before grinding them in a traditional stone mill. Packaging featuring Mithila paintings further reflects India’s rich cultural and artistic heritage.

Traditional Medicine Meets Modern Healthcare
The expo also hosted the 18th Arogya Conference, where experts discussed evidence-based traditional medicine, preventive healthcare, integrated healthcare, Ayurveda, homeopathy, nutrition and holistic wellness. Speakers highlighted the importance of scientific research and evidence-based practices while exploring greater integration between traditional and modern healthcare systems.
The Healthcare Innovation Summit, Global Wellness Leadership Forum and Wellness & AYUSH Leadership Forum also examined digital health, artificial intelligence in healthcare, preventive medicine, nutrition, wellness tourism and AYUSH.
Namo Gange Global Health Excellence Awards
The concluding day featured the Namo Gange Global Health Excellence Awards 2026, which honoured individuals and institutions for their contributions to healthcare, AYUSH, wellness, research and innovation.
Namo Gange Trust Chairman Vijay Sharma said IHWE aims to promote knowledge-sharing, innovation, business collaboration, investment and global partnerships in the health and wellness sector. He added that India has strong potential to become a global leader in AYUSH, traditional medicine, natural health resources and holistic wellness..
