Collaboration between Rajasthan and Assam adds unique cultural dimension to the pavilion

New Delhi: The India International Trade Fair (IITF) opened at Pragati Maidan with Rajasthan participating as the Partner State. The Rajasthan Pavilion, themed “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat”, was inaugurated by Principal Secretary (Industries) Alok Gupta.

After the inauguration, Shri Gupta visited the various stalls inside the pavilion, interacting with artists and artisans and encouraging them for their craftsmanship. He shared that this year, the Rajasthan Pavilion showcases an expanded presence with contributions from the Industries Department, Tourism Department, RIICO, BIP, Khadi, Rajeevika, and RUDA. Stalls featuring Rajasthan’s traditional cuisine and handicrafts are also part of the exhibition.

Highlighting the theme “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat”, the pavilion’s collaboration between Rajasthan and Assam is one of the major attractions this year. The initiative aims to strengthen cultural, artistic, and trade exchange between the two states.

Shri Gupta stated that Rajasthan’s participation will provide artisans, entrepreneurs, and investors with valuable exposure at both national and international platforms. A dedicated live demonstration zone has also been set up for artisans and entrepreneurs. The pavilion includes a One District One Product (ODOP) wall along with exhibits highlighting Rajasthan’s heritage, innovation, and sustainable industrial growth.

This year, Rajasthan has been designated as the Partner State for the trade fair. Rajasthan Small Industries Corporation Ltd. (RSIC) has developed a 1,000-square-metre pavilion showcasing the state’s industrial achievements, cultural richness, arts, crafts, tourism potential, and investment opportunities.
