London, October 8, 2025:
The Nehru Centre, London, hosted a spiritually enriching evening with the International Samarpan of the Shri Krishna Leela Collection. The event brought together fragrance, art, film, and Kathak, celebrating Lord Krishna’s eternal legacy as a symbol of India’s cultural and spiritual richness.

Divine Invocation and Film Screening

The evening began with a soulful chant of “Om Krishnaya Vasudevaya Haraye Paramatmane,” invoking the grace of Lord Krishna. This was followed by a short film on the Shri Krishna Leela Collection, capturing the artistry, devotion, and craftsmanship behind fragrances inspired by Krishna’s divine stories.

Fragrance as a Living Story

Addressing the audience, Mr. Prashant Kumar, CMD, Mode Retails Sales & Marketing Pvt. Ltd. and Founder of Ramalaya & JPSR Prabhu Shriram, emphasized fragrance as a form of devotion.
“Each creation is not merely a product; it is a living story, uniting bhava (emotion), bhakti (devotion), and sugandha (fragrance),” he said. He added that as India reclaims its role as Vishwa Guru, it shares pathways of harmony, sustainability, and consciousness with the world.

Cultural Diplomacy in Action

Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Deputy Director of the Nehru Centre, London, described the event as “a beautiful representation of India’s cultural diplomacy, where fragrance, art, and dance together communicate Krishna’s universal message of love and harmony.”

Kathak Brings Krishna’s Leelas Alive

Renowned Kathak artist Richa Srivastava presented a captivating performance themed “Krishna in Kathak.” Through rhythm and expression, she depicted three iconic Leelas:

  • Kaliya Mardan – triumph of purity and nature over evil,
  • Vastra Haran – Krishna as protector and eternal Nayak,
  • Radha Krishna Thumri – divine union of love and consciousness.

Her spellbinding performance enthralled the audience, embodying the eternal essence of Krishna’s play.

A Fragrant Tribute to Krishna’s Legacy

The Shri Krishna Leela Collection, unveiled during the evening, is a unique blend of devotion and artistry. Each fragrance reflects a Leela — Makhanchor’s innocence, Govardhan’s gratitude, Sudama’s humility, and Raas Leela’s divine love. Curated under the Ramalaya initiative, the collection is designed to be a sensory offering of India’s timeless cultural spirit.

Conclusion: India’s Offering of Harmony

The ceremony concluded with the formal presentation of the collection to Nehru Centre representatives, symbolizing India’s offering of love, peace, and balance to the world. The event reaffirmed India’s leadership in cultural diplomacy, where fragrance, film, and performance converge to spread messages of devotion and universal consciousness.
