The Bihar Vikas Gathbandhan (Bihar Development Alliance – BDA) today announced its first list of 25 candidates for the upcoming Bihar Assembly Elections 2025. The announcement was made during a press conference held at New Jharkhand Bhavan, New Delhi, in the presence of senior alliance leaders and representatives.
The event was attended by Anshuman Joshi, National President of the Janhit Dal; Badal Khan, Bihar State President; Dr. Suraj Mandal, former MP and three-time MLA; and Ajgar Khan, representative of the JP Alliance Muslim Political Committee.
The candidate list was finalized collectively by the Bihar Vikas Gathbandhan, which includes the Janhit Dal and other organizations aligned with the ideological movement of Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan (JP). The alliance is being led by Dr. Suraj Mandal, who has long been associated with social transformation inspired by JP’s vision and principles.
Driven by the spirit of “Total Revolution” (Sampoorna Kranti), the Bihar Vikas Gathbandhan is committed to building a democratic system based on transparent governance, inclusive growth, and people’s participation. The alliance upholds JP’s core ideals — empowerment, ethical leadership, and social justice — as the foundation of its political philosophy.
The JP Alliance Agenda, which forms the ideological base of the Bihar Vikas Gathbandhan, is built on four pillars: Education, Employment, Equality, and Empowerment.
The alliance envisions a new Bihar where governance is transparent, opportunities are equal, and every citizen plays an active role in state-building.
