Indira IVF Inaugurates Kharagpur Fertility Centre to Bring Advanced Fertility Care Closer to Patients

Kharagpur: Indira IVF has inaugurated a new fertility centre in Kharagpur, West Bengal, strengthening access to fertility evaluation, treatment and assisted reproductive services in the region.

The new centre will serve individuals and couples seeking fertility care and will combine standardised clinical protocols, advanced laboratory practices and patient-centric care.

Fertility Services for Men and Women

The Kharagpur centre will provide evaluation and treatment for male and female infertility. It will also offer assisted reproductive services to support patients through different stages of their fertility journey.

Standardised laboratory practices, Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and patient safety systems will support the centre’s clinical services.

Experts Attend the Inauguration

Dr. Anup Kumar Mallick and Prof. Dr. Ratan Chandra Mandal attended the event as Chief Guests. Dr. Akanksha Jangid, Dr. Mangal Prasad Mallick, Dr. Tanmoy Mondal and Dr. Adwaita Pandit joined as Guests of Honour.

Dr. Piyali Das, Senior Executive Director and Centre Head, Indira IVF, Kharagpur, attended the inauguration along with senior company representatives and medical professionals.

Focus on Awareness and Early Medical Guidance

Dr. Anup Kumar Mallick highlighted the link between fertility and reproductive health. He said greater awareness and easier access to specialised care could encourage people to seek timely medical advice.

Prof. Dr. Ratan Chandra Mandal stressed the need for accurate diagnosis and structured treatment. Since fertility challenges can have many clinical causes, specialised care can help couples understand their options. As a result, they can make informed decisions about their fertility journey.

Expanding Access Across West Bengal

Mr. Nitiz Murdia, Managing Director, Indira IVF Hospital Limited, said West Bengal remains an important region for fertility care. He said the Kharagpur centre will strengthen the organisation’s ability to serve patients through its growing network.

Dr. Akanksha Jangid said the centre brings together medical expertise and strong infrastructure to deliver reliable, quality and patient-centric fertility care.

Patient-Centric Approach at the New Centre

Dr. Piyali Das said, “Every patient has a unique fertility journey and requires care based on their individual clinical needs.” She added that the centre will focus on comprehensive evaluation, personalised treatment and clear guidance.

The centre will also work towards creating a supportive environment for individuals and couples throughout their fertility treatment.

Indira IVF Now Has More Than 200 Centres

The Kharagpur launch further expands Indira IVF’s nationwide network to more than 200 fertility centres across India. Alongside fertility evaluation and assisted reproductive services, the organisation uses technologies such as closed working chambers, electronic witnessing and other digital systems to support treatment processes and patient safety.

In addition, Indira IVF contributes to the development of reproductive medicine professionals through fellowship programmes and the Indira Fertility Academy. Together, these initiatives strengthen its focus on accessible, technology-enabled fertility care and professional training.
