A disturbing incident unfolded in the Majhgawan market area on Sunday, where a police inspector was captured on video forcefully dragging a couple over a minor parking disagreement. The footage, which has since gone viral, has ignited widespread condemnation and calls for accountability.

The video depicts the inspector, identified as Dhannu Singh, Station In-Charge of Majhgawan Police Station, engaging in a heated exchange with a man regarding the parking of his motorcycle. The situation escalated rapidly, with Singh grabbing the man and dragging him along the street. The man’s wife can be heard pleading for the officer to stop, but her appeals were ignored. Bystanders attempted to intervene, urging the officer to cease his actions, but their efforts were unsuccessful.

Eyewitnesses report that the couple did not exhibit any behavior warranting such treatment. Many believe that Inspector Singh misused his authority, publicly humiliating the couple without just cause. This incident has sparked significant anger among local residents, who assert that law enforcement officials are meant to protect citizens, not mistreat them.
