Vice President of India C.P. Radhakrishnan and Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on Tuesday jointly released Sanatan Sanskriti Ki Atal Drishti, a book authored by Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani, at the Vice President’s Enclave in New Delhi.
Speaking on the occasion, Vice President Radhakrishnan described the book as a heartfelt offering dedicated to Bharat Mata and said its release assumes special significance as the country prepares to commemorate the birth centenary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Reflecting on Vajpayee ji’s legacy, he termed him a leader of unwavering principles whose foresight strengthened India’s infrastructure, democratic institutions, and strategic capabilities.
The Vice President noted that Vajpayee ji lived by the ideal of placing the nation above all else, embodying humility, moral strength, and parliamentary dignity. He said the book thoughtfully presents Vajpayee ji’s deep faith in Indian cultural traditions, constitutional values, and a nationalist outlook rooted in inclusiveness.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, addressing the gathering, emphasised that Sanatan, Hindu, and Indian culture should be understood as expressions of a single civilisational consciousness. Referring to Swami Vivekananda’s teachings, he said Indian culture is founded on inclusivity, mutual respect among religions, and Sarva Dharma Sambhava, values that were clearly reflected in Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s life and public conduct.
Author Vasudev Devnani said the book explores Vajpayee ji’s leadership and personality through the timeless principles of Sanatan culture. He highlighted that Vajpayee ji’s journey from a grassroots pracharak to Prime Minister symbolised steadfast nationalism, democratic commitment, and deep cultural grounding.
The programme was attended by Union Minister of State for Agriculture Bhagirath Choudhary, RSS Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Sunil Ambekar, National Book Trust Chairman Milind Marathe, senior officials, and several other distinguished guests.
