7 June 2025, New Delhi
India’s women’s 4×100m relay team struck gold at the Taiwan Athletics Open 2025, clocking a record-breaking 44.07 seconds to secure the top spot at this prestigious World Athletics Continental Tour Bronze-level event. The winning squad featured V. Sudheeksha, Abhinaya Rajarajan, S. S. Sneha, and Nithya Gandhe, who delivered a powerful and perfectly synchronized performance to claim victory over strong Asian competition.

This triumph is especially significant for HRDS INDIA Sports Academy, as it celebrates its first international gold medal. The academy’s athlete, S. S. Sneha, played a vital role in the victory, showcasing the impact of grassroots sports development. Just a week earlier, the same core team—with Srabani Nanda instead of Sudheeksha—clinched silver at the Asian Athletics Championships in Korea, qualifying India for the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.
Despite the lineup change, the team’s chemistry remained unshaken. Seamless baton exchanges, sharp coordination, and raw speed ensured a commanding win and a new meet record in Taiwan.
“This gold medal is more than just a sporting achievement—it’s a powerful statement about what’s possible when talent meets opportunity,” said Ajii, Director of HRDS INDIA Sports Academy. “Sneha’s journey is a beacon of hope and motivation, especially for young girls in rural and tribal areas.”
Guru Atma Nambi Ji, the spiritual leader and visionary behind HRDS INDIA, added, “Every medal our athletes earn represents a larger mission of social upliftment. Sneha’s win belongs not just to her, but to every girl who dares to rise above her circumstances.”
The HRDS INDIA Sports Academy, based in Kerala, is dedicated to nurturing athletic talent from economically weaker and tribal communities, equipping them with the training and support needed to excel internationally.
With the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo on the horizon, this gold medal victory in Taiwan signals that India’s women sprinters are not just contenders—they are champions in the making.
