“Haqeeqat” Story: Advancing Towards a Safer, Chemical-Free Future

Haqeeqat initiative, launched in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan, emerges as a strong model promoting chemical-free living

An initiative that began in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan, with a vision to make food and life free from harmful chemicals is now evolving into a strong and scalable model. “Haqeeqat” has grown beyond being just an organisation and is now a movement driven by honesty, commitment and a scientific approach, steadily expanding its reach.

Mission Rooted in a Clear Vision

The foundation of Haqeeqat was laid in 2015–16 by Om Prakash Manjhu, who was deeply influenced by the increasing use of chemicals in farming and its impact on public health. Incidents such as the region’s widely known “cancer train” further strengthened his resolve. After retirement, he used his pension and personal savings to establish Haqeeqat as a Farmer Producer Organisation.

His objectives were clear:

  • Chemical-free food: Ensure everyone gets safe and pure food
  • Chemical-free living: Promote a healthy society through clean food
  • Chemical-free nation: Protect soil and future generations

Success Amid Challenges

The early phase of the organisation saw financial losses of around Rs 22 to 23 lakh. In 2021, the demise of its founder posed a major setback. Despite these challenges, the team continued its work with dedication and carried forward his vision.

  • New step: Second store launched in Hanumangarh Town
  • Expansion plan: Model to be extended to other cities

Transparent Model Focused on Farmers

  • Collective identity: Entire team contributes to the model
  • Benefit to farmers: Nearly 90 percent of sales revenue goes directly to farmers
  • Support facilities: MSP, crop insurance and cold storage
  • Quality assurance: Lab testing of every product, own testing lab planned soon

Ensuring Access and Building Trust

Haqeeqat believes that chemical-free food is a basic right.

  • Affordable supply: Safe food to be made accessible to all
  • Financial growth: Turnover increased from Rs 55 lakh in 2021 to over Rs 2 crore at present

Our Core Mantra- Chemical-Free Food | Chemical-Free Life | Chemical-Free Nation.

The launch of the second store in Hanumangarh Town marks another milestone, as the initiative continues to expand and position itself as a replicable model for other regions.
