Delhi Paralympic Committee President Parul Singh met DCP Sachin Sharma, who appreciated the 4th Delhi State Para Athlete Swimming Championship
New Delhi: Delhi Paralympic Committee President Parul Singh met New Delhi District Deputy Commissioner of Police Sachin Sharma, IPS, and thanked him for his support in organising para-sports events at Talkatora Indoor Stadium.
During the meeting, Sharma extended Diwali greetings to Singh and appreciated her efforts to promote para-sports and create opportunities for athletes with disabilities. He also praised the successful organisation of the 4th Delhi State Para Athlete Swimming Championship at Talkatora Indoor Stadium.
Sharma highlighted the role of sporting events in encouraging athletes with disabilities to participate in competitive sports. He also assured Singh of continued support and cooperation for future para-sports events.
Singh thanked the DCP for his encouragement and administrative assistance during the championship. She stressed the importance of cooperation between institutions to provide better facilities and opportunities for para-athletes.
