New Delhi: As the India AI Impact Summit 2026 unfolds at Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan, drawing global leaders, tech visionaries and over 35,000 delegates to the capital, Delhi Traffic Police has activated one of the most extensive traffic management plans in recent years. The five-day event (February 16-20) has triggered regulated movement across central Delhi, with VIP convoys expected to cause intermittent delays of up to 30 minutes on key corridors.

In an official advisory issued on February 14 and reiterated today, Delhi Traffic Police (@dtptraffic) has outlined precise restrictions, diversions and alternative pathways to ensure seamless movement for residents, airport passengers, railway commuters and exam-going students. This is not a blanket shutdown—essential services, emergency vehicles and public transport remain prioritised—but commuters are urged to plan ahead amid the convergence of the summit, wedding season and CBSE board exams beginning February 17.
