KOCHI, Kerala: Sri Lanka Tourism will organise a business networking roadshow in Kochi on October 28 to strengthen ties with Kerala’s travel industry. The Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB), in association with the Sri Lanka Deputy High Commission in Chennai, will host the Travel Trade Roadshow and Networking Evening. The programme aims to connect Sri Lankan tourism businesses with travel agents, tour operators and other industry representatives across Kerala.
Roadshow to Build Travel Industry Partnerships
The event will give Sri Lankan tourism companies an opportunity to present their products and meet potential business partners in Kochi. The participating delegation is expected to include hotels, resorts, destination management companies, tourist attractions and other tourism service providers.
Travel agents, corporate travel representatives, MICE specialists, journalists and tourism influencers will also have opportunities to interact with the visiting businesses.
The programme will feature business-to-business networking, destination presentations, one-on-one buyer-seller meetings and media interactions. Cultural performances, a networking dinner and promotional giveaways will form part of the evening.

India Remains a Key Market for Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka recorded 2,362,521 international tourist arrivals in 2025, according to the figures provided in the event material. Indian visitors accounted for 531,511 arrivals, representing approximately 22.5% of the total.
The country continued to attract Indian travellers in 2026, welcoming 482,944 visitors from India by October 22. They accounted for 26.6% of international tourist arrivals during the period.
Sri Lanka Tourism aims to build on this demand by engaging directly with travel businesses in regional Indian markets. Kochi’s commercial links and travel industry make it a potential partner for promoting leisure holidays, family trips, premium stays, destination weddings and MICE travel.
Sri Lanka to Showcase Diverse Holiday Options
Sri Lanka offers a mix of beaches, heritage sites, wildlife experiences, scenic landscapes, luxury resorts, wellness retreats and adventure activities. These attractions allow travel professionals to develop holiday options for different types of Indian travellers.
The roadshow will provide a platform for Sri Lankan businesses to exchange market insights, promote their offerings and explore new commercial partnerships with Kerala-based travel companies.
Kochi Roadshow Date and Venue
The Sri Lanka Travel Trade Roadshow and Networking Evening is scheduled for October 28, 2026, at Ramada by Wyndham Garden, Kochi.
Through the event, Sri Lanka Tourism seeks to deepen cooperation with Kerala’s travel trade, expand destination promotion and create more opportunities for businesses in both markets.
