New Delhi: The Akhila Sevak Samaj Council (ASSC) has announced the appointment of Mr. P. Hassim as the State Chairman of the Kerala State Board. Approved by the Board of Governors and National Executive Council, the appointment takes effect on August 3, 2026, for a three-year term, subject to review.
Welcoming the appointment, ASSC National Chairman & Founder Dr. Bhargav Mallappa said Mr. Hassim’s leadership will strengthen the Council’s social welfare and community service initiatives in Kerala.
As State Chairman, Mr. Hassim will lead ASSC’s programmes throughout the state. He will lead organisational expansion, establish District Executive Committees, recommend District Coordinators, supervise volunteer enrolment, and ensure that all initiatives follow the Council’s guidelines.
ASSC Kerala Leadership & Government Liaison Role
He will also serve as ASSC’s official representative before Kerala government departments, statutory bodies, and local authorities. Additionally, he will oversee compliance with the Council’s Constitution, governance standards, and code of conduct across all Kerala State Board activities.
ASSC stated that the appointment carries an honorary and executive role and aims to advance public welfare, social justice, and national service.
ASSC has authorised Mr. Hassim to use the Council’s official designation, branding, and seals for approved organisational activities across Kerala.
Dr. Bhargav Mallappa, National Chairman & Founder, and Dr. Baburaj V.R., National General Secretary of ASSC, jointly signed the appointment order.
