Atal Foundation celebrates the legacy of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, recognising individuals across social, public, and global domains for their outstanding service and contributions.

The Atal Foundation organised the prestigious Atal Shree 2025 and Atal Samman Samaroh 2025 at New Maharashtra Sadan, Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi, to commemorate the ideals and legacy of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The event highlighted public service, integrity, and inclusive development, reflecting Vajpayee Ji’s lifelong vision.
Union Minister of State for Agriculture, Bhagirath Chaudhary, graced the event as the chief guest. Distinguished attendees included MP Geeta Shakya, former MP and Indian Red Cross Society ex-chairman Avinash Rai Khanna, Aparna Singh, National President of the Atal Foundation, social activist Ashok Agarwal, and spiritual leader and former Miss World Tourism India Ishika Taneja.
Addressing the gathering, MoS Chaudhary emphasised, “The Atal Foundation’s initiatives strengthen social inclusion, promote education and healthcare, and empower communities, carrying forward Atal Ji’s vision of holistic development and public welfare.”
Awards were conferred across four categories. The Atal Ratna Award 2025 was presented to former MP Avinash Rai Khanna and Ankit Rathi. Nine individuals received the International Atal Award for their globally impactful contributions. Twenty recipients were honoured with the Atal Shree Award, and 11 individuals were recognised with the Atal Gaurav Award for sustained excellence in public service and social development.
Aparna Singh, National President of the Atal Foundation, added, “Atal Ji’s ideals continue to guide our efforts. Through every initiative, we aim to uphold his vision of inclusive growth, social harmony, and service-oriented leadership.”
The event celebrated excellence, inspired civic engagement, and reinforced the importance of upholding the principles of integrity, service, and nation-building exemplified by Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
