Dr. K.A. Paul Urges U.S. Sanctions on Russia Over Pakistan Ties; Plans Global Peace Summit in New York

In Delhi press meet, peace activist flags Russian threat to South Asia, warns of political turmoil in Telangana, and calls on judiciary to defend democracy

Global peace ambassador and evangelist Dr. K.A. Paul addressed a high-voltage press conference at A.P. Bhavan in Delhi, spotlighting critical geopolitical and national issues following his strategic meetings with senior U.S. lawmakers and global leaders in Washington D.C. and New York.

Russia Supporting Pakistan, Threatening India’s Security: Dr. Paul

Dr. Paul alleged that Russia is supplying military aid to Pakistan, thereby indirectly abetting cross-border terrorism against India. He termed it a betrayal, saying, “Russia is backstabbing us by funding Pakistan while terrorists attack Indian soil.” He claimed that 100% of Democratic and 80% of Republican senators in the U.S. have extended support to enforce tougher sanctions on Moscow, likely to be introduced by the end of this month. He also urged the Indian government to reassess its ties with Russia in light of these developments.

World’s Largest Global Peace Summit in the Works

Dr. Paul announced that he will soon unveil plans for hosting the world’s largest Global Peace Summit in New York later this year. The summit will aim to resolve global conflicts, including the Russia-Ukraine war and ongoing tensions in the Middle East, particularly Gaza.
“We need collective global leadership to bring real peace, not politics,” he asserted, promising further details by the end of the week.

Political Storm Brewing in Telangana: Allegations of Corruption and Realignment

Shifting to domestic politics, Dr. Paul highlighted a viral video implicating Telangana Congress MLA Mandula Samuel, alleging it as evidence of deep-rooted bribery among MLAs.
He went on to make a startling claim: that Telangana CM Ravindra Reddy—a Congress leader—is planning a political coup, possibly aligning with the BJP and taking 25–30 MLAs along with him to form a new government, echoing the political playbooks seen in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh in recent years.

A Direct Appeal to India’s Judiciary

Taking aim at the Election Commission for its alleged inaction, Dr. Paul called upon India’s judiciary to step in decisively. “To save our democracy and Constitution, courageous action is needed from the courts,” he stated, requesting that judges prioritize constitutional values over political bias and ensure timely action against defections and corruption.

Call for Global and National Unity

In closing, Dr. Paul emphasized the need for both national and international stakeholders to stand united in defense of democracy, transparency, and peace. His message was clear:
“India and the world need bold steps—not just statements—to preserve democratic values and build a more peaceful tomorrow.”
