Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara Becomes 7th Highest Grosser of 2025

Saiyaara, the most recent romantic drama directed by Mohit Suri, is making waves at the box office. The film, which stars debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, has become one of the highest-grossing movies of 2025 after surpassing the ₹100 crore milestone in just four days.
Saiyaara made ₹22.50 crore on its first Monday, bringing its total domestic earnings to ₹105.75 crore, according to the box office tracking website Sacnilk. The overall momentum is still strong even though Sunday’s ₹35.75 crore, the movie’s greatest single-day collection, saw a tiny decline.

The film opened to ₹21.5 crore on Friday and maintained steady growth throughout the weekend. With these impressive figures, Saiyaara has already overtaken the lifetime collections of Akshay Kumar and Ananya Panday’s Kesari Chapter 2 (₹92 crore) and Sunny Deol’s Jaat (₹88 crore net).
After registering one of the top five highest opening weekends of 2025, Saiyaara now holds the position of the year’s seventh highest-grossing film so far. Produced by Yash Raj Films, Saiyaara tells a poignant story of love, loss, and memory. Ahaan Panday plays Krish Kapoor, a struggling musician, while Aneet Padda portrays Vaani Batra, a young writer diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease. The film’s emotional depth, combined with soulful music and heartfelt performances, has resonated strongly with Gen-Z audiences.
