Jackie Shroff Teams Up with Shah Rukh Khan for Siddharth Anand’s Action Thriller ‘King’

Veteran star set to appear in a never-seen-before role alongside a stellar ensemble cast in the much-anticipated 2025 thriller

Mumbai: Following the record-breaking success of Pathaan, superstar Shah Rukh Khan, actress Deepika Padukone, and acclaimed director Siddharth Anand are reuniting for a high-voltage action thriller titled King. The movie will go on floors on May 20, 2025, and already has an ensemble cast of Abhishek Bachchan, Suhana Khan, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, and Abhay Verma. Bringing additional star power to the project, Jackie Shroff has boarded the project officially in a lead role.

 According to a report by Pinkvilla, Shroff’s character details are being kept tightly under wraps, but sources suggest he will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar, heightening the excitement around the film’s storyline and scope.

In King, Shah Rukh Khan takes on the role of a lethal assassin involved in a high-stakes mission, joined by Suhana Khan’s character.Abhishek Bachchan will be playing the lead antagonist of the film, and Anil Kapoor will take on the role of SRK’s handler. The action sequences will be choreographed by internationally acclaimed action directors, combining grounded realism with big-screen cinematic panache.

With production scheduled to roll in less than a week, King is fast becoming one of the most-watched-out Bollywood movies of 2025.
