Committee Reaffirms Commitment to Equal Opportunities for Athletes with Disabilities
New Delhi: Shri Dilipbhai Sanghani, Chairman of IFFCO and former Gujarat Cabinet Minister, has been appointed Chief Patron of the Delhi Paralympic Committee.
Shri Sanghani is a senior public figure with decades of experience in public life, cooperative leadership, and policy-making. His association with the Delhi Paralympic Committee is expected to provide strategic guidance and institutional support to strengthen para-sports development in the national capital.
The occasion was attended by Latlit Thakur, Rahul Kasana, Gaurav Choudhary, and Latil, who were present during the announcement of the appointment.
Welcoming the appointment, Ms. Parul Singh said, “The appointment of Shri Dilipbhai Sanghani as Chief Patron is a meaningful step for the para-sports movement in Delhi. His vast administrative experience, credibility, and commitment to inclusive development will significantly contribute to strengthening the para-sports ecosystem and advancing athlete welfare in the national capital.”
The Delhi Paralympic Committee reiterated its commitment to promoting equal opportunities for athletes with disabilities and expressed confidence that Shri Sanghani’s patronage would further enhance visibility, credibility, and long-term development initiatives for para-sports in the region.
