Paapori Harsh brings The Jugni Story to Gurugram on October 24, blending Sufi, folk, Bollywood, ghazal and fusion with personal storytelling

GURUGRAM: Bengaluru-based vocalist and performing artist Paapori Harsh will bring her live concert format, ‘The Jugni Story’, to Gurugram for the first time on October 24, 2026. The show will take place at Epicentre, Apparel House, Sector 44, and will combine music, storytelling and personal experiences.

The concert will explore several musical styles, including Sufi, folk, Bollywood, ghazal and Indian fusion. Instead of following a conventional concert format, The Jugni Story uses songs and personal stories to create a narrative around emotions, memories and different stages of life.

For Paapori Harsh, the Gurugram show has a special connection. She spent nearly 15 years in the NCR before moving to Bengaluru. Her return brings the concert to a region that played an important role in her personal and professional journey.

“In many ways, this feels like coming home,” Paapori Harsh said. She described The Jugni Story as her most personal concert format, bringing together the music she loves, the stories behind the songs and her journey as an artist.

Paapori Harsh’s Musical Journey

Paapori Harsh is a Sangeet Visharad and trained in the Hindustani classical tradition under Vidushi Padmaja Chakraborty, a disciple of legendary vocalist Vidushi Girija Devi. Her musical work spans classical, Sufi, folk, Bollywood, ghazal and contemporary fusion.

She is also a Berklee-certified Music & Wellness Coach. Alongside music, she has more than 15 years of experience in senior corporate HR leadership. This professional background has shaped the conversational and empathetic style of her performances.

The Gurugram concert will feature The Paapori Harsh Project, her live ensemble, along with contemporary musicians and fusion instrumentalists. The repertoire will include interpretations such as ‘Chaap Tilak’, ‘Thade Rahiyo Fusion’ and ‘Challa’.

For Paapori, Jugni represents a free-spirited and constantly evolving part of human nature.

“Jugni, to me, is a spirit. She travels, observes, questions, loves, falls, rises and keeps moving,” she said.
