Dubai: Bihar is strengthening its efforts to attract global investment in the food processing sector. The Industries Department, Government of Bihar, exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with AIM Global Foundation at the AIM Congress 2026 in Dubai to promote a dedicated Food Processing Park in Bihar.

The partnership aims to attract investment from the UAE and the wider Gulf region and develop an integrated agri-food and food processing cluster in the state. The initiative will leverage Bihar’s strong agricultural base and create opportunities to connect local farmers and food processing industries with global food supply chains.

Industries Minister Shreyasi Singh was present during the MoU exchange. Industries Department Secretary Kundan Kumar and AIM Global Foundation President H.E. Dawood Al-Shezawi signed the agreement. Director, Industries, Government of Bihar, Mukul Kumar Gupta, also attended the event.

Shreyasi Singh said the partnership marks an important step towards establishing Bihar as a preferred investment destination. She said the proposed food processing park, supported by UAE investment, could help Bihar’s farmers and industries access international markets and global supply chains.

Kundan Kumar said the MoU will create a structured platform for engagement between Bihar and UAE-based investors in the food processing sector. He added that the department will work with AIM Global Foundation to identify specific investment opportunities ahead of Rising Bihar 2026.

The MoU exchange took place on the sidelines of the AIM Congress 2026 in Dubai, highlighting Bihar’s growing focus on attracting international investment into its agriculture, food processing and industrial sectors.
