Delhi Paralympic Committee President Presents Traditional Artwork, Advocates for Cross-State Collaboration in Para-Athletics

Mrs. Parul Singh, President of the Delhi State Paralympic Committee, called on Jharkhand Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren today in New Delhi, marking a significant step in her ongoing efforts to strengthen the para-sports ecosystem across India.

During the cordial meeting, Mrs. Singh presented a traditional painting of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita to the Chief Minister — a gesture symbolizing cultural harmony and mutual respect. She commended the Jharkhand government’s initiatives to enhance sports infrastructure and support para-athletes in the state.

Mrs. Singh also emphasized the need for greater inter-state collaboration to build an inclusive and robust framework for para-sports. Her suggestions included joint training programs, talent exchange initiatives, and increased visibility for para-athletes in mainstream sporting events.
