1 June 2025, New Delhi
The University of Warwick commemorated its 60th anniversary with a high-profile media event at The Shangri-La in New Delhi. This exclusive gathering celebrated six decades of academic excellence, research innovation, and global collaboration. Senior leadership from Warwick, including Global Chief Communications, Marketing and Content Officer Ajay Teli and Director of Communications – Corporate Brand Satnam Rana-Grindley, travelled from the UK to engage with Indian media and underscore the university’s long-standing connection with India.

The event spotlighted Warwick’s enduring legacy as a world-class institution with a growing footprint in India. With a 25-year partnership with Tata Group and numerous collaborations across industries, Warwick has become a hub for fostering innovation and talent across borders. The celebration reflected the university’s commitment to nurturing future leaders and supporting international alliances that drive meaningful progress.
A major highlight of the evening was a tribute to Warwick’s thriving alumni network—changemakers whose impact continues to transcend industries and geographies. Among them is Mamta Marasini, a graduate of Warwick Business School who exemplifies the entrepreneurial spirit Warwick fosters. Mamta earned her MSc in Business with Marketing and has since founded Roar Corp, a bold, creative agency based in New Delhi and Kathmandu.
Since launching Roar Corp in November 2023, Mamta has led the agency with vision and passion, delivering strategic brand campaigns, immersive events, and cutting-edge influencer marketing for global lifestyle brands such as Superdry, G-Star Raw, Yamaha, and Mothercare. Known to her team as the “Chief Lioness,” Mamta built Roar from the ground up with a focus on thoughtful creativity, data-driven insights, and human connection. “Roar was born from passion and persistence—never shortcuts,” she says.

Mamta credits her time at Warwick as the catalyst for her growth. “I stepped into Warwick unsure of how to begin and walked out a changemaker,” she reflects. “It was the education, the people, and the challenges that gave me clarity about what I wanted to do—and why.” She adds, “I’m proud to be part of a community that empowers individuals to create impact beyond borders. Warwick truly cleared the fog for me.”
Now leading a dynamic cross-border team, Mamta is focused on building a brand that resonates and inspires. With creativity at the core and strategy at the helm, Roar Corp continues to craft campaigns that not only deliver results but also move people. As Mamta puts it, “Roar’s mission is simple: to be your brand’s BFF—and to make some serious noise while doing it.”
