Guru-Turned-Educationist Accused of Running Sex Exploitation Racket

Chaitanyananda Saraswati, Former Institute Chief, Faces Serious Molestation Allegations by Students

FIR reveals hidden cameras, coercion, and harassment of 17 students at Delhi management institute; nationwide hunt launched for 62-year-old accused.

Spiritual Guru-Turned-Educationist Accused of Sexual Exploitation, Police Launch Nationwide Hunt. In a shocking case that has rocked the capital and drawn nationwide attention, a self-styled spiritual guru and head of a prominent Delhi-based management institute has been accused of masterminding a disturbing network of sexual exploitation, psychological manipulation, and abuse of power. The accused, identified as Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati, also known as Swami Parthasarathy, is now at the center of a nationwide manhunt following the registration of a First Information Report (FIR) that has revealed systemic abuse targeting at least 17 young female students at the Sri Sharda Institute of Indian Management, located in Vasant Kunj. According to the details in the FIR, one of the most alarming revelations involves the alleged installation of secret surveillance cameras inside the women’s hostel of the institute. These cameras were reportedly placed under the guise of security but, in reality, served as tools of voyeurism and control. It is alleged that close aides of the accused ensured that students remained silent about the intrusive monitoring and even pressured them to comply with his demands.

The FIR describes a disturbing pattern of coercion in which the 62-year-old accused allegedly summoned female students late at night to his private quarters, often targeting those from economically weaker backgrounds. These students, many of whom were enrolled at the institute under scholarship programs, were particularly vulnerable to threats of suspension, withdrawal of financial support, and denial of academic documents. The complaint further states that some of the young women were compelled to accompany the accused on international trips under the pretext of academic mentorship, but these trips became an avenue for harassment and psychological manipulation. In one particularly disturbing case, a student was allegedly forced to change her name against her will, a move investigators believe was part of a broader campaign of identity erasure and mental control.

Students also reported receiving obscene messages and lewd advances through WhatsApp and SMS, with repeated threats that their degrees and career prospects would be withheld if they failed to comply. Victims claimed that both verbal intimidation and unwanted physical contact were part of a larger cycle of harassment that left them feeling helpless and isolated. The coercion was not limited to personal encounters, as students said they were repeatedly warned against involving their parents or outside authorities. This atmosphere of fear ensured silence and compliance, allowing the alleged exploitation to continue unchecked for years.

As investigators dug deeper, more layers of deceit came to light. During a raid of the institute premises, police discovered a luxury Volvo car in the basement bearing a forged diplomatic license plate—39 UN 1—a number format typically reserved for vehicles belonging to United Nations diplomats. The discovery of the bogus plate has added another dimension to the case, with officials calling it evidence of a sophisticated operation designed to create a facade of legitimacy and influence. The car has since been seized, and investigators are probing how the fake diplomatic credentials were acquired and what role they played in the accused’s activities.

Meanwhile, multiple statements from former associates and insiders are painting a picture of calculated psychological control. Victims alleged that those surrounding the accused not only enabled his actions but actively enforced them, pressuring students into silence and obedience. Many of the affected students were from marginalized or economically vulnerable families, making them more susceptible to the accused’s threats and manipulation.

As the investigation intensifies, the scale of the allegations has triggered a broader debate about accountability in educational and spiritual institutions. The case has underscored how unchecked authority, cloaked in spiritual credibility and academic prestige, can enable long-term exploitation. Authorities are now focusing not only on locating and arresting the accused but also on dismantling the network of enablers who allegedly helped sustain the cycle of abuse. For the young women whose lives have been disrupted, the case represents both a personal and collective trauma, as well as a test of whether the system can deliver justice in the face of systemic exploitation.
