Dr. K. A. Paul Gives Rahul Gandhi 30 Days to Act on Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad: Praja Shanthi Party president Dr. K. A. Paul has given Congress leader Rahul Gandhi 30 days to take action against Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy over allegations of corruption, misuse of power and questions concerning pending cases.

Paul questioned the Congress leadership’s continued support for Revanth Reddy despite the allegations. He also referred to the cash-for-vote case linked to the chief minister and called for greater accountability from the ruling party.

Paul Questions Congress Leadership

Paul argued that the Congress leadership should address allegations involving its own government before raising corruption issues against political opponents.

He said the party’s position on Revanth Reddy required clarification and urged Rahul Gandhi to respond to the concerns he had raised.

The allegations and demands outlined by Paul represent his position. Their merits require assessment through the appropriate legal process.

Demand for CBI Investigation

The Praja Shanthi Party chief has demanded a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry into allegations against the Telangana government. He also called for appropriate legal action in cases that remain pending.

Paul urged Telangana MLAs across party lines to seek accountability from both the state government and the Congress leadership.

Threat of Legal Action and National Protest

Paul said Rahul Gandhi should act within 30 days. He warned that he would pursue legal measures if the Congress leadership failed to respond and would consider organising a nationwide protest.

He maintained that Telangana needed greater accountability, transparency and action on the issues he had raised.

The statement places renewed political focus on the allegations against the Telangana government and the Congress leadership’s response to calls for an investigation.
