Shagun Portrays Negative Character Paridhi ‘Pari’ Virani in Hit Reboot
In the television industry, the lines between reel and real life often blur, and the latest instance involves actress Shagun Sharma. The young star, currently embodying a villainous character in the reboot of the famous daily soap, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, has confirmed her romantic relationship with her co-star, Aman Gandhi.
The Confirmed Romance: A Pre-Show Love Story
Shagun Sharma, widely recognized for her previous roles in shows like Ishk Par Zor Nahi and Yeh Hai Chahatein, is currently starring as the negative character Paridhi ‘Pari’ Virani in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 since July 2025.
In a recent candid conversation, Shagun put an end to the ongoing speculation regarding her and Aman Gandhi’s relationship. “These are not rumours, it’s true,” she stated, confirming the romance. She further clarified the timeline, noting their commitment predated their current project: “We didn’t start dating on the show; we were seeing each other even before that.” Aman Gandhi had previously confirmed that the couple has been together for over a year.
Working Together: A Bond That Only Grew Stronger
Despite playing on-screen brother and sister in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, their dynamic has not complicated their real-life romance. Shagun sees the shared workplace as a positive.
“Playing your sister on-screen doesn’t affect me so much,” Shagun explained, adding that their roles don’t focus heavily on the sibling bond. “What I like is that we get to have lunch together and spend more time together. The friendship between us has gotten stronger.”
Shagun also highlighted Aman’s role as a major support system, revealing that his encouragement was a “very big reason” she took on her latest role. She stated that Aman and her sister were confident she should accept the part, showcasing the deep level of trust and support within their relationship. The public’s first hint of their romance surfaced earlier this year when the two shared pictures on social media around Valentine’s Day.
