In a bold and emotional press conference held in New Delhi, internationally acclaimed peace crusader Dr. K. A. Paul launched a scathing attack on global leaders, accusing them of fueling warfare for financial gain while neglecting their duty to uphold peace and diplomacy.

Dr. Paul specifically called out former U.S. President Donald Trump, alleging that he accepted a $400 million private jet from the Emir of Qatar as a bribe to facilitate ongoing arms deals and shield the Gulf state from scrutiny. “Is America for sale?” he questioned, condemning Trump’s prioritization of arms profits over humanitarian action in global crises such as the conflict in Gaza.

“Trump didn’t stop the India-Pakistan war — God and I did,” declared Dr. Paul, revealing his behind-the-scenes diplomatic efforts during past regional tensions. He also accused Trump of pushing trillion-dollar arms deals with nations like Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar — framing them as “mafia-style protection pacts” driven by fear of political downfall.

The event was marked by a powerful message of religious unity, with representatives from Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, and Sikh communities joining hands in support of a shared vision for peace. Notable attendees included Anand S. Jondhale, President of the Buddhist International Forum for Peace, and Ashrafi Akbar Ali, a prominent Muslim leader.

In a dramatic call to action, Dr. Paul announced a 24-Hour Global Day of Prayer and Peace, scheduled from 6 PM on May 24 to 6 PM on May 25. He urged individuals across the world, regardless of faith, to devote at least five minutes in prayer — whether at home, in places of worship, or in public — to seek divine intervention for lasting global harmony.

He also criticized IndiGo Airlines for allegedly denying him travel clearance to peace summits in Turkey, calling it a dangerous precedent of political suppression and interference in humanitarian missions.

Dr. Paul ended his address by calling on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, opposition leaders, and spiritual figures to transcend politics and reawaken India’s legacy as a moral and spiritual beacon in the world — citing Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Patel as inspirations.

“India can take care of India,” he declared. “And it can lead the world in caring for peace, prayer, and justice.”
