Renowned international peace advocate and Global Peace Initiative (GPI) founder, Dr. K.A. Paul, has issued a grave warning to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, urging an immediate end to ongoing military actions against Iran. He cautioned that continued aggression could provoke a wider global conflict, possibly triggering World War III.

Speaking to media at the Praja Shanti Party headquarters in Hyderabad, Dr. Paul condemned the airstrikes on Iranian nuclear sites and called them a “dangerous provocation.” He stated, “This is not just an attack on Iran. This is a geopolitical miscalculation that could pull in superpowers like Russia, China, and North Korea. Netanyahu must stop before it’s too late.”

Drawing on his experience as a former state guest of both Israel and Iran, Dr. Paul appealed to the Israeli leadership to show restraint and focus on humanitarian issues, particularly the crisis in Gaza. “One million people in Gaza are starving. This is a humanitarian disaster. History, God, and humanity will not forgive this,” he said.

Shifting focus to the Air India AI-171 tragedy that occurred in Ahmedabad, Dr. Paul made a strong case for urgent reforms in India’s aviation sector. He criticized government leadership and called for high-level resignations to ensure accountability and prevent further loss of life.

Among his key demands were:

Dr. Paul also raised concerns about critical lapses in infrastructure and emergency response at the airport, stating that poor ground handling and delayed medical aid may have worsened the tragedy. “I’ve owned and operated aircraft since 1991. Aviation requires expertise and precision. Leadership failures in this sector cannot be ignored,” he asserted.

He called for transparency and independent investigation into the AI-171 incident and encouraged citizens to demand accountability from both government bodies and private operators.

“This is not just about one flight. It’s about the future of aviation safety in India. We must act now,” Dr. Paul concluded.
