The ongoing Teej Utsav 2025 at Bikaner House in New Delhi continued on Thursday with various traditional games and cultural competitions. Rajasthan Cabinet Minister Shri Zoraram Kumawat visited the venue, interacted with participants, and took note of the activities organized as part of the event.

Speaking during his visit, Shri Kumawat said such festivals help preserve traditional art and craft while also offering platforms for women’s self-help groups and local artisans. “Products made by women in Rajasthan are seeing increasing demand. The government is committed to supporting them in expanding their reach,” he said.
The minister visited stalls set up by Rajeevika and RUDA and held brief conversations with women entrepreneurs and artisans. He mentioned that the state government is considering the establishment of a Saras Parlor at Bikaner House to promote dairy products in Delhi.
Additional Resident Commissioner Smt. Anju Prakash and Deputy Resident Commissioner Shri Manoj Singh were present during the visit.
Competitions held as part of the festival included mehndi (henna), ramp walk, traditional dance, and singing, with participation from various age groups. These events aimed to introduce elements of Rajasthani culture to the public.
According to Additional Resident Commissioner Smt. Anju Omprakash, the winners of the mehndi competition—Seema, Iratika Khan, and Anshika Shukla—were awarded certificates and prizes.
In the ramp walk competition, Bharat Vishnoi, Vikas, and Ashish were selected in the male category, while Vijayashree Sharma, Aarti, and Akshita were awarded in the female category.
