In spite of CUET-UG results delays, Shakeel Ahmed guarantees little disturbance to the academic schedule.
New Delhi 19 July 2024
The CUET-UG 2024 results should be available by late July or early August, according to Shakeel Ahmed, the acting vice-chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia. The findings, which were initially supposed to be announced on June 30, have caused a delay in the university’s admissions process for 15 undergraduate and 5 graduate courses.
Concerning the delay, Ahmed referred to the National Testing Agency’s (NTA) ongoing struggles, which included the need for a retest for more than 1,000 applicants because of problems with paper distribution. The university’s academic schedule is still in place, Ahmed confirmed, despite obstacles.

Following a recent meeting with deans of the schools, Ahmed emphasized efforts to reduce admissions delays and pledged quick action following the announcement of the final CUET UG results. Release schedules for CUET-UG are impacted by increased scrutiny as the NTA oversees several exams, including NEET-UG and UGC-NET, amid reported paper leaks.
