iPhone 17 to Launch in Six Colour Variants

Apple’s iPhone 17 series is due to launch, and rumors regarding its features and design are running more and more. Following speculations of new copper and blue hues for the iPhone 17 Pro models, tipster Majin Bu just leaked the first images of the ordinary iPhone 17 dummy units in two additional color options: green and purple. These hues have been used in previous iPhone models, but the more recent models have a more sophisticated, pastel-like appearance that is both understated and inviting. With only slight changes anticipated, the iPhone 17’s design is very similar to that of its predecessor, the iPhone 16.

Apple is reportedly planning to launch the iPhone 17 in six colour variants this year, including Black, White, Light Blue, Steel Grey, Green, and Purple. Unlike last year’s bright “Ultramarine” hue, the company seems to be shifting back to lighter shades, similar to what was seen in the iPhone 15 lineup. Alongside the refreshed colours, the iPhone 17 is also expected to come with notable hardware upgrades. The iPhone 17 is expected to feature the powerful A19 chip, paired with 8GB of RAM and a smooth 120Hz OLED display. While the rear camera setup is likely to retain the 48MP main sensor and 12MP ultrawide lens, the front camera could see a significant upgrade to 24MP, enhancing selfie and video call quality.

In addition to the base model, Apple is also rumoured to introduce a new variant called the iPhone 17 Air. This model is expected to replace the existing Plus version and feature an ultra-thin design inspired by the sleek aesthetics of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. With these updates, Apple aims to offer users more variety in both style and performance, making the iPhone 17 lineup an exciting option for 2025.
