Fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee has expressed gratitude to industrialist Kumar Mangalam Birla for his support in preserving the legacy of the Sabyasachi brand. Taking to Instagram Stories, the designer hinted at a significant collaboration between his brand and Birla’s company, though he refrained from sharing specific details.
On Tuesday, Sabyasachi highlighted the contributions of the Birla family to nation-building, particularly in the fields of art, culture, and education. He stated, “The Birla family has contributed immensely towards nation building; especially the preservation of art, culture and education in India. Though our lives were very different, the shared importance of these values united us in purpose.”

He concluded his statement with a heartfelt note, “From all of us at Sabyasachi, thank you Mr. Birla for your continued support.” Notably, Kumar Mangalam Birla’s daughter, singer Ananya Birla, is frequently seen wearing Sabyasachi’s designs at various events and weddings.
