New Delhi: 5 July 2024
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduates, or NEET-PG, exam has been rescheduled, according to confirmation from the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). The exam, which was initially postponed, will now take place nationwide on August 11, 2024.
The exam will be conducted in two sessions at various places around the nation, according to a statement released by the NBEMS on Friday.
The eligibility deadline for NEET-PG 2024 is still August 15, 2024, as announced by NBEMS in addition to the exam date. This judgment confirms that candidates meet the eligibility requirements for participation in the examination.
The exam, scheduled for June 22, was postponed hours before it began due to alleged irregularities in the UG exam, including leaked papers.

The government had stated that it would conduct a thorough evaluation of the robustness of the NEET-PG procedure. One of the measures discussed during the meeting was to prepare the question paper two hours before the exam.
