The meeting aimed at strengthening ties between the MERI Group, the India Central Asia Foundation, and Turkmenistan’s education institutions. Prof. Dwivedi underlined how IT is pegged today in an interconnected world; he pointed out that within MERI Group lies the most advanced curriculum in Cybersecurity, Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Software Engineering. These programs are designed to produce highly skilled professionals capable of addressing global challenges such as digital security, intelligent systems development, and predictive analytics. A major focus of discussion was the progress of the Joint Study conducted by ICAF, New Delhi, and Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The study, which focuses on India-Turkmenistan relations, examines possibilities for increasing cooperation in economic, scientific, technological, and cultural fields. It also offers useful insights for students of Indian studies in Turkmenistan or Turkmen studies in India, thus gaining a better understanding of policy options and mutual engagement.
Prof. Aggarwal said MERI CIS, in fact, is dedicated to global outreach: it has assumed a crucial place in International Relations, Business and Economic Studies. “The Centre cooperates with such leading global institutions and scholars worldwide as it pursues innovative, interdisciplinary researches in international affairs,” he emphasized.
Ambassador Geldynazarov praised the MERI Group and ICAF for their proactive efforts in building cooperation between India and Turkmenistan. He is optimistic about future cooperation and realizes the importance of the Joint Study in building cultural and educational bridges between the two nations.
With a bouquet and traditional shawl offered by Prof. Aggarwal to Ambassador Geldynazarov as a good-will gesture in favor of the mutual deepening of educational collaboration, the meeting was concluded. They both renewed their commitment to achieve academic excellence with cultural exchange.
