Mahindra & Mahindra, a key player in the SUV market, is set to reveal the revamped Mahindra XUV 3XO today. This facelifted version, formerly known as the XUV 300, joins the impressive lineup alongside models like the XUV700, Scorpio-N, Scorpio Classic, Thar, Bolero Neo, and Bolero, promising to further strengthen the domestic SUV manufacturer’s offerings.

Exterior Enhancements

The new Mahindra XUV 3XO boasts striking design updates, featuring vertically mounted LED headlamps with LED DRLs flanking a fresh front grille. The SUV also showcases redesigned linked LED taillamps and brand-new 16-inch alloy wheels, enhancing its aesthetic appeal.

Interior Revamp

Inside the cabin, the dashboard has undergone a redesign, offering a modernized look. Notable additions include a seven-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, a new touchscreen infotainment system, and a digital instrument panel. Moreover, passengers can enjoy the comfort of front ventilated seats and a dual-zone automated climate control system. The segment-first panoramic sunroof adds to the overall premium experience.

Advanced Connectivity

Mahindra introduces the Adrenox Connect technology, allowing owners to remotely control the car’s interior temperature via a smartphone app. This innovative feature enhances convenience and comfort for users, aligning with modern tech expectations.

Technological Advancements

While the availability of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) remains uncertain, if included, the Mahindra XUV 3XO would undoubtedly lead its class in technological sophistication.

Powertrain Options

The Mahindra XUV 3XO 2024 is expected to inherit engine and transmission choices from the XUV300. This includes three engine options: a 1.5-liter diesel, a 1.2-liter Stallions turbocharged gasoline unit, and a 1.2-liter turbocharged gasoline engine. Transmission options vary, with six-speed manual and AMT available for certain engines.

Performance and Efficiency

The SUV offers two drive modes, including the intriguing “Zap” mode. Mahindra has teased impressive figures of 20.1 mpg mileage and 0-60 mph speed in 4.5 seconds, although which powertrain these apply to remains undisclosed.
