Actress Jasmine Bhasin recently made her first public appearance since encountering a serious eye issue due to wearing contact lenses during an event. The incident occurred on July 17 while she was preparing for an event in Delhi. Despite experiencing discomfort and pain in her eyes, Jasmine decided to fulfill her work commitment before seeking immediate medical attention. She wore sunglasses throughout the event to manage the discomfort, with the assistance of her team, as her vision gradually deteriorated.
Later that night, Jasmine sought medical help from an eye specialist who diagnosed her with damaged corneas and provided initial treatment by bandaging her eyes. She promptly returned to Mumbai the next day to continue her treatment, experiencing considerable pain and difficulty in sleeping. Despite these challenges, Jasmine managed to navigate her professional commitments without postponement, expressing hope for a speedy recovery to resume work soon.
Apart from her TV roles, Jasmine debuted in Punjabi films with “Honeymoon” in 2022. Her next film, “Ardaas Sarbat De Bhale Di,” co-stars Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi and Gippy Grewal, releasing on September 13. Jasmine keeps fans updated via Instagram, expressing gratitude for their support during her recovery.
In her recent public appearance at the Mumbai airport, Jasmine was seen donning a pink and blue coord set, slip-ons, and dark sunglasses. She interacted briefly with the paparazzi, flashing a thumbs up to indicate her improving condition and reminding photographers not to use flash due to her sensitive eyes. At one point, she bravely removed her sunglasses, revealing the aftermath of her eye injury, before gracefully waving and proceeding into the terminal building.
Despite the challenges posed by her recent health setback, Jasmine Bhasin’s determination to prioritize her recovery while managing her professional commitments reflects her resilience and dedication to her craft. Her fans continue to offer their prayers and support, eagerly anticipating her return to full health and the screen.
