About Janta Party and its legacy

It is not easy to forget the Emergency and JP Movement. Navneet Chaturvedi, who is the President of the Janata party that was born out of JP Movement, says, he has inherited only the legacy of the Janata Party. With no resources, organization, funds, office etc,. However a person over 45-50 years old in every village or town at any corner of India instantly recalls their past when they hear about Janata Party Chandra Shekhar, Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan, JP Movement,Sampoorna Kranti,Morarji Desai,Chaudhary Charan Singh etc. The symbol of cycle riding farmer is still afresh in people’s mind. We just have to work hard; our voters are sitting everywhere in the country; we just have to reach them.

Navneet Chaturvedi says that even today we will continue following the ideals of our revered founder Jayaprakash Narayan Ji. As such while carrying forward socialist thought and ideology we have to realize incomplete dreams of JP on Sampoorna Kranti which shall remain our mission. These issues are administrative reforms; judicial reforms; police reforms as well as electoral reforms which make up for system change battle for common people by Janata Party.
