New Delhi, 16 October 2024
Ahead of IPL 2025, Mumbai Indians have made several key changes to strengthen their team. The franchise has appointed former Team India bowling coach, Paras Mhambrey, as their new bowling coach. Paras, who previously worked with the Indian team during the 2024 T20 World Cup, has an impressive coaching record.
Mumbai Indians announced this appointment on their official website, highlighting the addition of Mhambrey to an already formidable coaching staff, which includes Lasith Malinga. The combination of Mhambrey and Malinga is expected to further bolster the team’s bowling unit. Interestingly, Paras is no stranger to Mumbai Indians, having been associated with the team in the past. In his playing days, he represented Mumbai in domestic cricket as a right-arm medium pacer.
