Indira IVF Expands Presence in Maharashtra with New Hospital in Jalna

Indira IVF Opens Its 29th Hospital in Maharashtra at Jalna

Jalna, 07 February, 2025:

The modern lifestyle, coupled with unhealthy eating habits, has significantly impacted fertility health. Conditions such as diabetes, high stress levels, obesity, and PCOS have contributed to rising infertility rates, yet awareness about these issues remains low. Many couples struggling to conceive either lose hope or remain unaware of advanced fertility treatments that can help them achieve parenthood.

Strengthening its commitment to providing world-class fertility care, Indira IVF, India’s largest fertility chain, has inaugurated a state-of-the-art hospital at Rama Arcade, Jalna, Maharashtra. The facility was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Dr. R. S. Patil, Civil Surgeon, Jalna, alongside other esteemed dignitaries, including Dr. B J Gholap, MO Class 1HTT, Jalna; Dr. P M Kulkarni, Class 1 Anesthetist, Jalna; Sandeep S. Bharati, P. I., Jalna; Dr. Dhondiram Bharati, IVF Specialist & Sr. Executive Director, Centre Head, Indira IVF, Chh. Sambhajinagar; and Dr. Swati Sanap Thorve, Executive Director and Centre Head at Indira IVF, Jalna. This marks Indira IVF’s 29th hospital in Maharashtra.

Dr. Kshitiz Murdia, CEO & Co-founder of Indira IVF, stated, “While Maharashtra is an economically progressive state, infertility awareness remains limited in remote areas. Indira IVF is actively working to bridge this gap by ensuring that couples no longer have to travel to distant cities for advanced fertility treatments. So far, Indira IVF has helped over 1.6 lakh couples achieve pregnancy through IVF. The group operates more than 160 modern IVF centres across India and abroad.”

India’s medical tourism sector is expected to grow at a CAGR of 17.20% from 2024 to 2034, surpassing $50.67 billion. Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) treatments are projected to play a significant role in this growth.

Dr. R.S. Patil, Civil Surgeon, Jalna, commended Indira IVF, by saying, “Raising awareness about infertility is crucial, as it is often an overlooked subject. Indira IVF’s efforts in making fertility treatments more accessible deserve appreciation.”

Dr. Dhondiram Bharati, IVF Specialist & Sr. Executive Director, Centre Head, Indira IVF, Chh. Sambhajinagar, highlighted, “While 1 in 6 couples in India faces infertility, and only 2% seek IVF treatments due to a lack of awareness. Indira IVF Jalna offers comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services, including IUI, IVF, ICSI, Laser-Assisted Hatching, Cryopreservation, and PGT. The hospital also integrates cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI)-assisted technologies to enhance success rates.”

Dr. Swati Sanap Thorve, Executive Director and Centre Head at Indira IVF, Jalna, emphasized, “Over 8 million couples worldwide have successfully conceived through IVF. Infertility in women can be caused by blocked fallopian tubes, PCOS, irregular or absent periods, and hormonal imbalances, while in men, low sperm count or poor sperm quality are common factors. Couples who have been trying to conceive for over a year without success should seek medical consultation without delay. Both partners should undergo medical evaluations to determine the cause of infertility and start timely treatment.”
As part of its initiative to support aspiring parents, Indira IVF Jalna is hosting a free infertility consultation camp until February 28, where expert doctors will provide free consultations to couples seeking fertility guidance.
