Strengthening Access to Advanced Reproductive Healthcare
Indira IVF has inaugurated its latest fertility center in Phulwari Sharif, Patna, marking its 12th facility in Bihar. This expansion aims to enhance access to modern reproductive healthcare, offering advanced fertility treatments to couples and individuals aspiring to become parents. By integrating cutting-edge reproductive technologies with personalized care, Indira IVF continues its commitment to making fertility solutions more accessible.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Bihar’s Minister of Health & Law, Mangal Pandey, as the chief guest, along with former minister Shyam Rajak, Indira IVF Bihar Head & Patna Center Head Dr. Dayanidhi Kumar, and Phulwari Sharif Center Head Dr. Puneet Hans.
Boosting Healthcare Infrastructure in Bihar
Speaking at the event, Health Minister Mangal Pandey emphasized the importance of accessible, high-quality, and affordable healthcare services in strengthening Bihar’s medical infrastructure. He noted that with the growing demand for fertility treatments, having specialized centers within the state will reduce the need for long-distance travel, leading to better healthcare outcomes and a more robust medical system.
Former minister Shyam Rajak highlighted the persistent social stigma surrounding fertility issues despite advancements in medical science. He stressed the need for an open dialogue on reproductive health, enabling people to seek treatment without hesitation. “Fertility centers play a crucial role in breaking these barriers and providing the right guidance and confidence to those in need,” he added.

The Role of Technology in Fertility Treatments
Indira IVF’s Managing Director and Co-founder, Nitiz Murdia, underscored the significance of technology in fertility treatments, stating that it enhances diagnostic accuracy, improves treatment success rates, and ensures ethical medical practices. “Our goal is to provide cutting-edge solutions for complex infertility cases, ensuring that every patient receives the best possible care tailored to their needs,” he said.
Dr. Dayanidhi Kumar, Bihar Head and Patna Center Head of Indira IVF, pointed out that delayed treatment remains a major challenge in fertility care, often due to a lack of awareness or misconceptions. “Many people are unaware of how factors like age, lifestyle, and health conditions impact fertility. Our mission is to educate and provide timely interventions to maximize success rates,” he explained.
Dr. Puneet Hans, Center Head of Indira IVF Phulwari Sharif, emphasized that fertility treatment goes beyond medical procedures—it involves emotional support and personalized care. “Every individual’s journey to parenthood is unique, requiring specialized attention and tailored treatment plans. Our new center is dedicated to offering scientifically proven, trustworthy, and patient-centric care to help them start their journey with confidence and hope,” he stated.
Indira IVF’s Commitment to Accessible Fertility Care

The establishment of the Phulwari Sharif center reinforces its mission to make quality fertility care more accessible, ensuring that more individuals and couples can receive scientifically validated, high-quality infertility treatments close to home.
