Gujarat’s First ‘Ramalaya Experience Centre’ Opens at Vadodara Airport

Gujarat witnessed the launch of its first Ramalaya Store at the Security Hold Area (SHA) of Vadodara Airport today. Introduced by JPSR Prabhu Shriram, a leading luxury incense brand, the centre aims to create a sensory experience that connects travelers with India’s spiritual essence through the art of fragrance.

A Cultural Milestone at the Airport

The centre was inaugurated by Shri Balkrishna Shukla, BJP’s Chief Whip in the Gujarat Legislative Assembly and MLA. Speaking at the event, he remarked, “Ramalaya revives the soul of India in a refined, immersive form. It reflects the divine and spiritual spirit that India is known for—a guiding force for the world. Vadodara Airport is proud to be part of this one-of-a-kind cultural and fragrant initiative.”

This experience centre is part of JPSR’s broader mission to revive and celebrate India’s artistic and spiritual heritage through aromatic storytelling and immersive installations.

A Unique Journey for Travelers

Now, passengers at Vadodara Airport can experience a distinctive blend of cultural narratives and luxury incense collections, offering a deeper connection with India’s soul. One of the highlights is the Shripad Ramayana Collection, inspired by the ancient Madhubani art form—originating in Mithila, the birthplace of Goddess Sita. Each incense pack combines sacred stories, divine illustrations, and signature fragrances to bring the teachings of the Ramayana to life.

Fragrance as a Spiritual Medium

Prashant Kumar, CMD of Mod Retail Sales and Marketing Pvt. Ltd. and Founder of the Ramalaya Foundation, shared his vision:
“Ramalaya is our humble tribute to India’s deep-rooted spiritual and cultural heritage through the medium of fragrance. In today’s world, airports are the temples of ideas and movement—and through incense inspired by the Ramayana and India’s ancient arts, we aim to offer travelers not just fragrance but a profound cultural and spiritual experience.”

He further stated that the goal is to establish Ramalaya Experience Centres at major airports across India and the world, offering global audiences a chance to experience India’s soul through scent and storytelling.

Promoting India’s Heritage to the World

Ramalaya is more than a fragrance brand—it’s a cultural movement to spread Indian art, values, traditions, and spirituality among youth and the broader society. It reflects India’s artistic brilliance and aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a ‘Vishwaguru Bharat’—a spiritually and culturally enriched global leader.
