IIA, ‘Build Bharat Expo 2025’ will be held 19 to 21 March at Bharat Mandapam, focus will be on India’s industrial development.

The Indian Industries Association (IIA), Delhi Chapter, celebrated the achievements of India’s Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector at a special event, TARANG 2024, held at the India Habitat Centre. The gathering, attended by IIA members and their families, was an evening dedicated to reflecting on the sector’s growth and its crucial role in India’s economic development.
Dr. Mamtamayi Priyadarshini, State Chairperson of IIA-Delhi, set the tone for the event with her welcoming address, highlighting IIA’s core mission to empower MSMEs and create new avenues for business growth. She emphasized the significance of unity and collaboration in shaping a prosperous future for the sector.

Dr. Sanjay Mayukh, National Media Co-head, Spokesperson, and Chief Whip of Vidhan Parishad (BJP), graced the event as the chief guest. He spoke passionately about aligning the MSME sector with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a progressive and self-sufficient India. Dr. Mayukh urged the audience to move beyond traditional practices and embrace a new era of growth driven by innovation and dedication.
“The era of traditional development is over. We are now in the era of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, where progress and dedication lead the way to a stronger, more prosperous India,” Dr. Mayukh said, energizing the attendees for the challenges and opportunities of 2025.
Mr. Dinesh Goyal, National Senior Vice President of IIA, outlined an ambitious roadmap for MSMEs, titled “Transforming MSMEs to 4.2 & 48.” This plan aims to increase the MSME sector’s contribution to India’s GDP from 33% to 48% by 2047, in line with the vision of Amrit Kaal. Additionally, Mr. Goyal announced plans to launch an Initial Public Offering (IPO) for MSMEs within the next two years to boost their financial growth and visibility.
Charanjeet Singh, Vice President of IIA-Delhi, spoke about the immense potential of MSMEs in shaping India’s future. He stressed the importance of innovation, sustainability, and growth in driving the country’s economic progress. He also previewed the upcoming Build Bharat Expo 2025, which will be held from March 19 to 21, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The expo is set to be a major platform to support and showcase India’s industrial development, with a special focus on empowering MSMEs and traditional industries.
The Build Bharat Expo 2025 will highlight various industries, including:
- Green and clean energy
- Building and construction materials
- Electrical and electronics
- Agro and food processing
This expo aims to address India’s evolving manufacturing landscape by offering sustainable practices, localized supply chains, and technological innovations. Unlike other expos focused on urban technologies and smart cities, Build Bharat Expo 2025 will emphasize regional industries and sustainable manufacturing, fostering innovation at all levels. The event will provide manufacturers, dealers, distributors, and entrepreneurs with ample opportunities to collaborate and contribute to India’s vision of becoming a self-sufficient and prosperous nation.
