Dr. K. A. Paul, world’s most popular Evangelist, Global Peace Ambassador, today called on President Trump, Speaker Johnson, Senator John Thune, and members of the U.S. Senate and Congress to urgently question Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the escalating violence against minorities in India, particularly Christians . Dr. Paul’s appeal follows the recent resignation demand of Manipur’s Chief Minister, who faced significant public outcry for failing to act against widespread violence that has left thousands dead, displaced, and homeless.
“Why has Prime Minister Modi failed to intervene in Manipur, where 100’s of churches have been burnt, thousands have been left homeless, and innocent lives brutally taken?” Young girls were paraded naked Dr. Paul asked. “Why did he remain silent for two years as the situation spiraled out of control? Why has he failed to visit the region and address the suffering of the people?”
Dr. Paul also highlighted the horrific events of 1999 when Australian missionary Graham Staines and 2 sons were brutally burnt alive and killed in Odisha, allegedly with the support of present Chief Minister appointed by Prime Minister Modi. “These are not isolated incidents. The ongoing violence against Christians, Muslims, and peace-loving Hindus in India reflects a troubling pattern under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership,” he added.
Dr. Paul, who has spent his life promoting global peace and justice, called out the silence from global political leaders, especially within the United States, on the worsening situation in India. “If members of Congress continue to ignore the suffering of millions of minorities in India while focusing on issues like Gotham Adani and MEIL Megha Krishna Reddy’s open corruption, they fail to uphold the values of democracy, secularism, and human rights,” he said.
It emphasizes Dr. Paul’s personal commitment to justice for India’s minorities and his ongoing efforts to hold the Indian government accountable for its actions. “Despite the danger to my own life, I will continue to speak out and demand justice. We must not allow these atrocities to continue unchecked,” Dr. Paul stated.
With a call for urgent action, Dr. Paul urges global leaders and the media to take a stand against the ongoing violence in India and work toward securing peace and justice for its most vulnerable communities.
